mello friends work from home for the same company,
embodying different archetypes at work
mello the yellow otter (HR):

-Very chill, laidback, and encouraging
-Doesn't get why folks overcomplicate things
-Just wants others to take time to rest so they can be happy, healthy, and motivated
-Loves to joke around, but can also be surprisingly deep
Lin the blue sheep (user researcher):

-Works fast, which is why her boss always gives her more work than others
-Has been with the team for longer so she is trusted to deal with emergencies
-Feels tied to her desk, gets notifications last minute for work
-Used to make team meals and soup for everyone when everything was in-person
Love the purple capybara (team lead):

-Busy and ambitious, always on the go, doesn't prioritize time to relax
-Is a caregiver to her mom and a mother of twins (who like to video bomb mom’s meetings)
-Pushes her team to perform at a higher level
-Wishes she has time to curl up with a good book
Ozzie the pink pig (developer intern):

-Smart and inventive, but people overlook him because he's just an intern
-He is given lots of ad hoc tasks and doesn't perform to his potential
-Took initiative at first, but his ideas got shot down and he became apathetic
-Focuses more on his own personal and other freelance projects
Mia, a.k.a. Muffles the navy cat (product designer):

-Quiet most of the time, but gives strong, to the point presentations
-Joined the team when remote work started and feels out of the loop of inside jokes
-Her teammates calls her 'Muffles' because her mic often has issues
-Has a dark sense of humour and others don't know when they are joking
Elliot the orange bear (sales intern):

-Warm and outgoing, but currently in hibernated mode due to lockdown
-Works from his bedroom, eats takeout from his bedroom, games after work from his bedroom
-A little afraid of Mia, but thinks Ozzie is cool (he is part of the discord channel that Ozzie runs)
-Used to go to the gym with his brother but sticks to stationary hobbies after he passed away
